LeadHERship Coaching & Consulting, LLC launched in response to what AhNonda perceived as a learning gap between Women of Color LeadHERS and their cohorts in the workplace. LeadHERship is dedicated to helping women overcome self-doubt and feeling undervalued in the workplace/as an entrepreneur, so they can become the LeadHER they know they are destined to be.

LeadHERship Coaching & Consulting works diligently to fill in these learning gaps, giving Women of Color the tools to equip them to be confident, powHERful, and impactful LeadHERs. Through one on one and group coaching, training, and consultations, LeadHERship Coaching & Consulting provides tangible and practical solutions that promote a growth mindset, strategic career planning, and maintaining their overall mental well-being. Our goal is to empowHER Women of Color to become confident leadHERS, so that they can confidently walk in their purpose and leave their mark in this world!

Meet AhNonda

AhNonda Bates is the CEO of LeadHERship Coaching & Consulting, LLC. With over 12 years of experience as an Addictions Therapist and 15 years of leadership, she has a desire to help Women of Color across the world overcome self-doubt in the workplace and become the confident women they know they are.

She is a graduate of Purdue University, holding a dual Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Law & Society. She graduated with her Masters degree in Community Psychology in 2008 and has been a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) in the State of Indiana since 2011.

Additionally, AhNonda has over 8 years as an adjunct professor, both online and in the classroom. She has taught various courses within the mental health and addictions field. She has facilitated trainings all over the United States. Topics have included:

  • Leadership Development

  • Microaggressions and their harm in the workplace

  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the workplace

  • Secondary Traumatic Stress (STS)

  • Anxiety & Stress Management during COVID-19

  • Organizational Management

  • Understanding the science and treatment of addiction
